Dr. Valerie De La Torre was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in the small mining town of Miami, Arizona. She is a Grand Canyon College alumna, having graduated with a Music Ed degree with a minor in English. She also completed her Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and earned a Doctorate in Formational Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio. Her ministry interests focus on emotional and spiritual well-being, spiritual formation, and pastoral counseling.
