Instructor of Theology

My family and I moved to Arizona from Frisco, Texas. Prior to joining the online theology faculty at GCU, I studied at Dallas Theological Seminary, earning both a Th.M. and Ph.D. in Theological Studies (Systematic and Historical Theology). Additionally, I spent twenty years working as a Research Associate at Probe Ministries, teaching and writing in the areas of Christian worldview and apologetics. My current research interests are focused on the topic of friendship with God. I am also very interested in the writings of C. S. Lewis and William Lane Craig. I have been married to my wife, Hannah, since 2003. We have two children: Arianna and Josiah. We enjoy going for walks in our neighborhood, hiking in the mountains near our home, reading, and watching movies.
